Wire harness assembly manufacturing process

A wire harness (also known as a cable harness or wiring assembly) is a collection of wires that are designed to transmit signals and electrical power. Copper & Optic has a practical understanding and substantial level of experience in delivering wiring harnesses for projects as small as three components to hundreds. Large organisations with complex electrical needs benefit from using wire harnesses as opposed to cable assemblies due to their ability to use multiple terminations at each end.

A wire harness removes the complexities of electrical appliances and efficiently organises the binding of wires, cables and subassemblies so that the installation of only one component is necessary. Offering an additional layer of security for the electrical system, the harness protects the cables from abrasion and the possibility of breakage, ultimately saving on space and maximising product longevity.

Our experts will take the time to get to know your organisation, its objectives and processes. Copper & Optic’s tailored, consultative approach will streamline operations, update equipment and improve performance.
